Volunteer at the Mozilla Festival

Be part of something amazing! Join us as a Volunteer for MozFest 2025, where we’ll gather at Poble Espanyol in Barcelona, Spain from Nov 7-9th. Help us shape the future of the internet and make a difference!


Volunteers are the heartbeat of Mozilla and MozFest is no exception. Our events thrive because of the time, dedication, and passion of our volunteers. By joining us you’ll get a unique, behind-the-scenes opportunity to see how this amazing event comes together. If you’re a Mozilla enthusiast or a supporter of internet health, volunteering is a fantastic way to contribute to our mission.


There is a wide range of volunteer roles including registering participants, managing welcome desks, assembling swag bags, assisting with speakers, and more!   We ask for up to four hours of your time, and in return, you’ll gain valuable experience with a global community. Plus, you’ll receive exclusive swag, access to MozFest sessions, and a personalized participation letter.

Availability and Skills

Please select as many shifts as you are available for as we will use this for scheduling across all volunteers.




Tell us how many shifts you would like to take and which days you prefer. Example: 2 shifts on Friday and 1 shift on Sunday

Please see our list of role duties here. Select as many roles as you are interested in. We will do our best to allocate the role you want, but we ask you to please be flexible.  If you have no preference, please select "I'm up for any of it!".


Though MozFest is an English-speaking event, it's for a global community.  We hope to have participants engaging from all over the world.  Please let us know of any languages you feel comfortable conversing in.

Everything Else...

All volunteers receive a MozFest volunteer hoodie for wearing during your shift so attendees know who to ask if they have questions.
